HomeAway Dynamic Landing Pages
HomeAway hired me as part of a very small team of contractors: (one lead, one QA and later an additional developer) to execute a full stack node.js project to produce dynamic landing pages for SEO requirements.
The company had never used node.js as a true API development option before. My primary responsibility was to develop the API, but in addition contribute to any other supportive tasks (ui, devops, mentoring, documentation, jira, etc.). The success of this project led to the use of node.js as a viable technology for more than just ui apps.
